Get Involved!
Working Families Win - Virginia is organizing around the issues of guaranteed health care, jobs and wages, and the need for a fair trade policy. After all the excitment of the Federal campaigns last year, this is now the time to focus on more localized action. With the entire House of Delegates and candidates for statewide offices currently facing election, there will plenty of opportunities to illustrate how local grassroots volunteers can also be an important part of our community. Educate yourself, then educate your friends and neighbors. Use the resources on WFW's issues and resources pages. Then write your local newspaper with a letter to the editor or contact your elected officials to speak your mind or even host a house meeting with friends and family to help spread the word.
