This Saturday (May 16), the Michigan Leadership Workshop will join with progressive activists and organizations from across the state at the 3rd annual Michigan Policy Summit, to be held at Cobo Hall in Detroit. The Workshop is also assisting attendees from the Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, and Jackson areas with transportation to and from the event.
The Summit represents a special opportunity for those committed to a stronger, fairer economy to meet up, share ideas, and work together toward real progress at the local, state, and federal levels. To view the agenda and register, visit the event's website here.
Those who live in the Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, or Jackson areas and would like to ride with other West-Michiganders to and from the event should contact me directly as soon as possible but by Thursday at 3:00 PM at the latest. We will be leaving Battle Creek at 7:00 AM on Saturday and leaving Detroit for the return trip at approximately 6:00 PM. that evening.
