SANTA FE — Republican Heather Wilson has spent about $776,000 on her campaign for the GOP nomination for Senate during the past six weeks.
Wilson's campaign had a cash balance of slightly more than $712,000 as of last week, according to the latest federal campaign finance report.
Wilson received contributions of about $291,000 since April 1, according to a fundraising summary released Monday by her campaign. She represents the Albuquerque-area 1st Congressional District.
All three of New Mexico's U.S. House members are running for the Senate seat being vacated by Republican Pete Domenici.
Wilson faces Rep. Steve Pearce in the June 3 primary election. No fundraising summaries were immediately available for Pearce or Democratic Rep. Tom Udall, who is unopposed in the primary.
